Type and location of project: Renovation of a bathroom near Eygalières

Guideline: Our client wanted to renovate his bathroom in a light, neutral style, using a combination of white and wood, in an en-suite bathroom with a comfortable surface area of almost 9m2.

For the wall-hung furniture, we recommended the Via Veneto collection from Falper. This is one of the most complete and versatile modular bathroom systems, with top-of-the-range finishes both inside and out. The top consists of two basins moulded in white Cristalplant Biobased glass.
To meet our customer’s requirements, the fronts of the cabinet doors are made from real oak, as are the doors to the built-in cupboard, which were exceptionally made to measure by our supplier.

The wood, which is used in the magnificent parquet flooring, is also used as a decorative element in the shower recess and in the bathroom area, which is bordered by slats. For the sanitary facilities, we proposed the installation of the latest generation of Axent.One Plus washbasins, which we mentioned in a previous article.

To counterbalance the presence of wood, softer colours and materials have been used to dress the other areas of the bathroom. The shower area at the far end of the room is made up of small white zellige tiles and a transparent sliding panel. This combination adds light and depth to the room.

Chrome wall-mounted taps were chosen for the washbasin and shower area. The large backlit mirror facing the outside window reflects the light and opens up the outside.

This is a soft, light-filled project, for which the Hydropolis teams were able to bring all their expertise to bear in the design, project support, choice of brands and 3D modelling.
