De Tegel BV was founded in the 1980s. But it was in 1991 that the company became autonomous after a takeover of the management team.

A story of passion and tradition for this company that decided to focus its activities only on products of exclusive quality made by hand. This adventure began with a simple range of cement tiles. By favouring “handmade” work and focusing on quality, De Tegel BV has been recognized as a key player for its handmade tiles in Europe and around the world.

All their collections are produced in an ecological and sustainable way (controlled carbon footprint, respect for nature).

De Tegel BV has developed and now offers a wide range of handcrafted coatings that, in addition to meeting the new needs of layout and decoration, adapts to both indoor and outdoor spaces:

Cement tiles available in various sizes and over 72 shades. Multiple possibilities to create your custom tiles and floors.
Zelliges of impeccable quality.  With their subtle shades, zelliges will bring charm to all your spaces, inside and out.
Mosaic plaques in Zelliges, whose origins date back to the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain, made by talented Master Craftsmen. To date, these mosaics find their place in boutique hotels, bars and high-end restaurants, in the villas of rich and famous owners, and luxury public places.

Terracotta that combines authenticity, durability and modernity.
Terrazzo with plates up to 240 x 160 x 1.8 cut to size. Perfect solutions for worktops, table tops, stairs, window frames, or simply for your floors.
Lava Stone created by Mother Nature.  Durable, solid, superb and unique, custom cut and enamelled in all RAL colors that exist.
And to complete our ranges, various glazed ceramic tiles.
