Prostoria, is a young Croatian company that has risen to the rank of leader and promoter of innovative ideas, in the design of furniture design in just a few years in his country but also in Europe.

The company already has some new icons such as the Polygon armchair and the Revolve convertible sofa.

Prostoria, is the perfect example of a more traditional approach, based on the exchange and collaboration of all the actors involved in the production process. In a region where the know-how and the number of talents in the field of design are colossal, there was so much reactivity these potentials.

Since the beginning, Prostoria has developed the principle of sharing, functioning as a platform of nourishing exchange and stimulating the permanent exchange between the different actors of furniture production. A dynamic atmosphere in a workshop spirit was created offering opportunities for designers to explore their ideas in excellent conditions and bring them to the highest level of design, functionality and craftsmanship.

Many products were developed over long periods through several versions before the final form, which would have been impossible without the combined support of modern techniques, excellent local know-how and the heritage of the highest quality craftsmanship. Prostoria primarily uses local materials, including solid wood, and most of the collection is produced on site in our premises.

Even if the catalogue also offers models with a proven track record, Prostoria demonstrates a strategy and even a passionate dedication to design based on research, convinced that authenticity has its place on the market but puts itself to the challenge, yet appearing impossible, to create innovative and fresh concepts. For this reason, Prostoria’s position and social responsibility can be seen as a contribution to the evolution of design and the willingness to take risks in order to achieve new values at the service of the user and culture.
